I bought an Oxygen PRO 49 keyboard while ago and it came with Akai samples. There is an instrument called "Uber Tines" which is a very interesting sounding electric piano.

The samples for this instrument are in four groups separated by velocity ranges.

It would be a very easy task to divide the samples by using loVel and hiVel parameters but I want the ranges to overlap somewhat so that the sound would not be jumping around.

In addition to that overlapping, I would like to be able to control the impact of velocity to volume. Preferably so that it has no impact. This would give me the full control over timbre (via velocity) and volume (via CC).

I noticed that this is actually lot harder than I thought.

Any help is appreciated, even links to videos, other threads etc.

Thanks in advance!
