How can I write and load a lua script for may preset?

I wonder how I can use scripts to realize senior functions, thanks.

I've been thinking about this a lot lately.

What would be really cool is if we could build instruments from within Reaper on the fly (using samples from the session) and have a Lua script generate the xml file for Decent Sampler and then somehow make an instance of decent sampler (auto) load the preset.
