Is it possible to double-click and enter a value for a knob as opposed to just rotating it?

Sometimes it's difficult to get to a specific value with the mouse. Being able to double-click and enter a precise value would be a nice addition.

I agree, it would be really nice to have this but not necessarily when double-clicking on the knob itself, since it can already be used to reset the knob to a predefined default value.
In most VST I'm using, what you are talking about is typically achieved by displaying the knob value, then the keyboard entry is triggered by double-clicking on this displayed value.
I think it could also be triggered using a context menu by right clicking.
