Hi,

When I open up Decent Sampler and click on the Browse button, the sample store tab displays cover art images. What size does this image need to be, and does it need a specific file name?

Also, If I then switch to the file browser tab and view my downloaded instruments, there is a long banner image under the load button - what size does that need to be, and does that also need a specific file name?

Thank you.

For background picture I have been using PNG images. Those seem to work just fine. The size of the background image can be anything but for best results, use 812 x 375.

It is up to You what the file name of the image is but the standard seems to be "background.png". You can put this file anywhere but the best place seems to be the same place where the samples are. At least many instrument developers have put it there.

The cover art image seems to be of JPG format but I suspect that PNG works here as well. The image should be square sizing 1000 x 1000. The "standard" name of the image file is "cover_art.jpg" and it is usually located with the samples as is the background image.
