In the 'Options' menu, there is an item called: 'Save current state'. What is this for? It seems to save a binary file that contains the XML plus other data...

It saves the current state of the knobs, like a user preset. Then with Load a saved state, you can load it.

However it seems to also include all the XML that a standard preset would contain, and uses absolute paths referencing the samples, and being binary there's no easy way to edit that, which means you can't share it. At least that's what it was like when I tried it last.
