I have noticed that he .dslibrary format of Decent Sampler is NOT compatible with VEPro 7! I have created both a server and a project file for AG4 as I did (successfully) with the .dspreset format before. Fact is that VEPro appears to not be able to "remember" the .dslibrary content and quits, when I try to open the server file. This happens when the computer as been shut down (e.g. after work) and is switched on again (on the next day, for example). The same goes for the project file: open a new project frame and loading the respective AG4 project file forces VEPro to quit instantly. This is true for both the .vst and the .au version of Decent Sampler.
Within Cubase 11
1) Save Cubase project with DS and loaded .dslibrary.
2) Quit Cubase and restart the PC/Mac, so there will be nothing in RAM.
3) Open Cubase and load the saved project with .dslibrary: the project opens, DS is loading something, the AG4 red alert appears in the GUI, BUT NO KEYSWITCHES AND NOTE RANGES in the virtual keyboard are displayed. Though the patches seem to work based on the various key switches within the project. And on top DS tells its version number (as if there was nothing loaded) and not the actual preset name, as it should be (see screen shot). Reloading the library manually solves this.
Mentioned problems are not at stake when using the direct presets themselves, without the dslibrary extension. So when not renamed after zipping, but as zip file unpacked by a users on a different HD, there shouldn't be a problem.
Can someone confirm this? And can this please be solved?
