On Windows, I'm getting message that says VCRUNTIME or MSVCP DLLs are missing.

Question

When I try to run Decent Sampler on Windows, I get messages that say "The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140.dll was not found."

Sometimes, I also get this message which says "The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP140.dll was not found."

Thanks for getting in touch! It looks like your copy of Windows is missing the Visual C++ Runtime. You can download it for free from Microsoft. 

If you are using 64-bit windows, download it here. 

If you are using 32-bit windows, download it here.
