I got a reply from Fred Poirtier on the pianobook forum.
I’ll paste it here if anyone else has this question.
”Here is a bit of the DS instrument code from Mickleburgh Piano about the pedal noises:
<group name=”Pedal Down 1″ volume=”6dB” onLoCC64=”90″ onHiCC64=”127″>
<sample path=”Samples/Mickleburgh Pedal Down 1.wav” start=”0″ end=”286042″
loNote=”0″ hiNote=”0″ rootNote=”0″ tuning=”0″ volume=”0dB” pan=”0″
loopEnabled=”false” loopStart=”0″ loopEnd=”286042″ loopCrossfade=”0″/>
</group>
<group name=”Pedal Up 1″ volume=”6dB” onLoCC64=”0″ onHiCC64=”40″>
<sample path=”Samples/Mickleburgh Pedal Up 1.wav” start=”0″ end=”119123″
loNote=”0″ hiNote=”0″ rootNote=”0″ tuning=”0″ volume=”0dB” pan=”0″
loopEnabled=”false” loopStart=”0″ loopEnd=”119123″ loopCrossfade=”0″/>
</group>
So, as you can see, all you need is to add these onLowCC64 and onHiCC64 on the pedal noise groups.“
A big thank you to Fred!
