The free Decent Sampler stuff are great so the premium packs need to offer more nuanced ideas of course. This by VT is sublime; so glad I got it. I will for sure but more.

For a sample library that asks “what if you don’t know how to play it (the viola) properly?”, what you get is a delightful showcase of the outer worlds of the viola. Moody, spooky, dramatic, it’s a great meditation on all of the emotions the viola plays best in, and a perfect complement to more traditional viola libraries. I’m picking up the standalone DS library explicitly to use them in tandem.
